Iconic Melee Weapon from Modern Warfare 2019 Rumored to Return in Black Ops 6
The latest rumors surrounding 2024’s Call of Duty installment – rumored to be titled ‘Black Ops 6 (BO6),’ with Treyarch leading the development charge this time – suggests that a familiar melee weapon from 2019’s rebooted Modern Warfare could be making a comeback.
The weapon in question is the ‘Halligan Bar,’ a tool originally featured in several single-player campaign missions of Modern Warfare 2019. Fans will remember it being wielded by none other than Captain John Price to breach rooms and fend off Al-Qatala insurgents, notably in ‘The Embassy’ mission. It has also made occasional appearances in the Modern Warfare games’ Multiplayer mode, being used by some operators in their special Finishing Moves.
