Activision Drops Mysterious New Teaser for Black Ops 6

Activision has started teasing the highly anticipated new Call of Duty entry, widely speculated to be titled ‘Black Ops 6’, in a cryptic and unique manner never before seen from the company. Naturally, this has set the internet abuzz, with social media currently exploding in discussion!

The mysterious teaser comes via a new website, “thetruthlies.com,” featuring an interactive old CRT TV screen with controls for volume, channels, pausing, and even recording the content. There are six channels in total (Black Ops “6” confirmed!), but currently, only the first two channels are active while the remaining four loop static patterns.

Channels 1 and 2 are currently looping two different espionage-themed short videos, both shot in first-person. The first video shows several figures hiking near a restricted zone at Mount Rushmore at night. The scene then cuts to the following morning, revealing the four Presidents’ eyes blindfolded with the phrase “The Truth Lies” written across them. Abraham Lincoln’s face is marked with the same Black Ops-style Cerberus logo seen in the previous tease.

The second video depicts another nighttime espionage mission, featuring at least three men pasting posters on building walls and windows. These posters show an image of Mt. Rushmore over an American flag backdrop, with all four Presidents’ eyes now obscured in white paint and the phrase “The Truth Lies” boldly displayed at the bottom with the same Cerberus logo.

You can download the videos as mp4 files to further analyze them by clicking the ‘REC’ button. This unexpected teaser, which seems to hint at government corruption and deceit, has sparked speculation about a possible connection to the controversial Gulf War of the early ’90s—a rumored setting for BO6.
