What is Tac Stance In COD MW3, and How Does It Work?
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has a lot of dynamics to its movement due to how fast paced the nature of the game is. Adding to the already vast movement tech is Tac Stance! This movement mechanic adds a new horizon for COD players to explore. In this guide, we shall see what Tac Stance is and how we can use it.
Tactical Stance in COD: MW3 – What Is It?
Tactical Stance, also known as Tac Stance, is a movement mechanic where you move with the weapon slanted at a certain angle (About 30 degrees). This increases your ADS or Aim Down Sight Speed and Bullet Velocity and greatly helps in CQC (Close Quarter Combat).
If you are looking for a balance between hip-firing and aiming down sight, then Tac Stance is your answer. The downside is that you will have to sacrifice some amount of accuracy to gain a potent advantage in close-quarter and aggressive scenarios. It is important to note that Tac Stance can also be used while sliding!
Tactical Stance in COD: MW3 – How Does It Work?
The good thing about this feature is that it should be ON by default when you start playing COD. The two different settings for Tac Stance are:
- Tactical Stance Activation
- Tactical Stance Behavior.
Both these options will allow you to customize Tac-Stance according to your choice.
Tac Stance allows you the following options of activation. They are:
- Off
- ADS + Sprint
- ADS + Melee
- ADS + Down Button
- Double Tap ADS
You can also Toggle Tac Stance depending on how you want to use it:
- On Toggle: It is active until the key is pressed again.
- On Respawn: It is active until your first death.
- Once: It is active until you release the ADS key.
The game gives you the choice of keeping it ON or OFF. We would highly suggest you give Tac Stance a go and take it to the enemies! Once you get well-versed with the mechanic, you can fully utilize it to annihilate your opponents.
